The Best Kitesurfing Spots in New Caledonia

Activities

The world offers us wonders to explore. Some choose to do the explorations on foot while others tend to do it virtually. The world can show us its beauty in many ways. The internet allows us to explore from our homes, or wherever, so long as we have a smartphone and an internet connection.

For example, punters love learning about sports betting in general, or sports betting in other countries, which they do on sites like this one https://stavki-ua.com/.

Different hobbies require different sites and topics. Today’s hobby and sport is kitesurfing. New Caledonia has a plethora of wonderful spots where one could kitesurf and enjoy their holiday. Here are the best kitesurfing spots in New Caledonia.

Yédjélé Beach – Beauty and Kitesurfing

Kitesurfing is a very interesting sport that relies on wind power to make it work. Kitesurfing uses a power kite and a board and that is all one needs, including the wind, of course. The beach in question is one of the most beautiful sites you can see in New Caledonia. It is also known as the turquoise beach, which is to be expected, given the color of the ocean around the beach.

The beach is beautiful at all times, though it can get very busy during the tourist season. Take your time, scout it out and wait for the winds to howl.

Amedee Island – Another Beautiful Spot

Amedee Island is close enough to the capital city of New Caledonia, Noumea, for it to be considered a great spot for those who are there on a short vacation. The ferry trips are regular and it not being on the main island makes it a perfect spot for those who want to get away from the business of a capital city.

It is close enough to be considered a prime destination for tourists willing to take a trip but far enough away for most not to bother. The beaches are beautiful and the wind should take care of the rest.

Kuto – Isle of Pines

The Isle of Pines is an island as the name suggests, southeast of New Caledonia, yet still close enough to be a short ferry trip away. It is a larger island, at least compared to all the smaller ones around.

Kuto lies on the southwest part of the island and is a lovely sandy beach that is surrounded by trees. It is a perfect spot to relax and a great one to explore the ocean. The Isle of Pines itself is a great kitesurfing spot, particularly if you want to get away from the main island.

Easo – Lifou Island

Northeast of the main island is Lifou Island and Easo, a rather small location with a lovely beach and an even better ocean, one which is often undisturbed by tourists. It is a great kitesurfing location.

Kitesurfing is an amazing hobby and sport, one that requires open water, wind, and lots of courage. If you ever visit New Caledonia, these are the kitesurfing spots to consider.
